Dear LeonardoSpectrum HP-UX Platform Customer:
In order to be responsive to your changing needs, the Mentor Graphics Design Creation and Synthesis division (DCS) must continually re-evaluate its product strategy to focus on product development that maximizes the value we deliver. Occasionally this means restructuring our product direction toward specific platforms or operating systems and away from others.
As a result, Mentor Graphics DCS will discontinue development on HP-UX for our Leonardo- Spectrum flows, as of September 30, 2008. No new enhancement releases will be delivered on HP-UX after October 1, 2008.
We will continue to provide support for HP-UX based products under support contract in accordance with our Release Support Policy.
Because of this change, we strongly encourage you to move away from HP-UX to another supported operating system as soon as possible. Mentor's DCS products run on a variety of other UNIX, Linux, and Windows based computing platforms. Binaries for other platforms are included on all Mentor media, or may be downloaded from SupportNet under the LeonardoSpectrum "Downloads" tab.
