- These configurations are a guideline for the amount of memory, disk space, and processor speed needed for reasonable performance. Performance may be impacted by the complexity of design and number of concurrent processes.
Mentor Graphics works closely with customers and vendors to select those configurations to be supported.
In order to reproduce customer problems, Mentor Graphics maintains or makes available most supported configurations at its Wilsonville headquarters. Corporate Applications Engineers are trained and experienced in how to reproduce problems on these configurations. The most current supported configurations are shown above.
If your configuration is not one that is supported by Mentor Graphics, we will attempt to reproduce your problem in a similar environment. Although we are not currently supporting these Alternative Configurations, we have provided limited information which may be useful to you.
A supported configuration means:
- Mentor Graphics expects our software products to perform according to documented specifications on the configurations listed here. Mentor Graphics will pursue defect issues if products do not perform accordingly on these configurations.
- Defect issues related to other configurations will only be pursued when reproducible on a supported configuration.
