How do I check on the status of a Service Request or Defect Report / Enhancement Request (DR/ER) on the web?

Service Request and Defect Report Status

Service Requests: If you have a current Support Net login, you can view your and your sites’ Service Requests by clicking the “Service Request” tab, and selecting “All my SRs” or “SRs for Site xxxx” from the drop down list on the Service Request History page. The status of each SR is shown in the SR summary list. If a Service Request has a DR/ER associated with it, the related DR/ER number appears as a link next to the SR number in the Service Request list. Clicking the DR/ER link takes the user to the SR detail page. The status of the defect report is listed under the green “Associated Defect Reports” banner, at the bottom of the green and grey SR detail section.

My Company's Service Requests: If you need to view SR's submitted by your colleagues at other of your company sites, please contact SupportNet Registration at csd_registration@mentor.com to request "Multi-site Access." This option provides read-only access to Service Requests submitted by anyone at any site owned by your company.

Service Request Export: Service request information can be exported into HTML or CSV (Excel) format. On the Service Request History page, click the “Export SRs” link under the Find SR section. Click “Export Now” to begin exporting. Once the export has finished processing, you have the option of selecting either CSV or HTML format.

Public Defect Report and Enhancement Request Status

All publicly accessible DRs and ERs are available in the SupportNet Knowledgebase. If you would like to know the status of a Defect/Enhancement that is not attached to any of your or your company's SRs, go to the  select "Defect report" and/or "Enhancement" TechNotes, and enter your query. (NOTE: Some defects may not be made public for various technical or business reasons; this is determined on a case-by-case basis).
