Manual Removal of Username and Password

Your user name and password are remembered by storing them in a "cookie." Your web browser stores this cookie in a file on your system. The following instructions are provided to help you remove the cookie this option writes on your system. Each browser will write it's own cookie.

Internet Explorer
Netscape 4.7
Netscape 6 & 7
Opera 6

Internet Explorer

On your desktop, open My Computer, and then open the folders Local Disk, Document & Settings, then find the folder with your network login (in the example below my folder is named "awalker", my network login). Then click on the Cookies folder.

Now, right click on the Cookie folder and select the Search option on the pull down. In the "Containing text:" field, enter "smdata" and click "Search Now", in the Search Results pane, you should see a cookie. Highlight the cookie, right click and select "Delete". This will remove the Remember My Password cookie.
