Mentor Graphics software products are protected using authorization codes. An authorization code licenses a product for a specific time period. Outside North America, when you receive new or updated software, contact your local Mentor office to obtain your authorization codes. In North America, follow these steps to obtain your authorization codes when you receive new or updated software:
- Locate the Licensing Request Worksheet. You'll find it in the shipping box that's labeled "Installation Information Contained Here.” Or, you can call your local sales office to have a License Request Worksheet faxed to you.
- Complete the worksheet.
- Fax the worksheet or call in the information to your Customer Response Team representative at Mentor Graphics at 503-685-7000.
Your Customer Response Team representative generates your authorization codes and sends them to you by e-mail or fax.
To request replacement license keys for already licensed products, please open a "Service Request" and select "license renewal" from the product dropdown list.
