Registered SupportNet users can submit Service Requests using SupportEmail. If not already registered, request a login ID and password.
Note: Attachments to SupportNet email are not allowed. Please make a note in your Long description if you have a test case (including file name), and submit this via the Mentor SupportNet ftp site at ftp://ftp.mentor.com/pub/incoming/.
Within about 5 minutes you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your Service Request number and a copy of your submission. Your service request will be entered directly into our database and the next available Corporate Application Engineer will contact you.
For instructions for using SupportEmail, send a blank e-mail message (i.e. nothing in the body of the e-mail) to support_net@mentor.com. You'll receive a response in a short time with a detailed help file telling you everything you need to know about the SupportEmail services. CUT AND PASTE the template shown into the body of a NEW SupportEmail message -- DO NOT DO A "REPLY" TO THE HELP EMAIL, as many email programs add extra characters that will cause the email reader to fail.
