An Enhancement Request (ER) is a customer request to add functionality to a product. ERs are treated as Defect Reports. Because ERs affect a future release of a product and don't reflect product defects, the priority of implementing an ER is lower than that of fixing a defect.
Submitting an Enhancement Request
Although Mentor Graphics can't guarantee that each Enhancement Request will be implemented, ERs are very important in our planning process. We want your suggestions and comments about our software products.
If you would like to request an enhancement for a software product, either call your local SupportCenter and open a Service Request, or submit a new Service Request online.
